چکیده
Abstract Cervical cancer is the fourth most common in women globally and second Indian women, more lower socioeconomic strata. Improvement survival decrease morbidity reflect earlier detection with screening imaging, as well multifactorial multimodality therapy integrating surgery, concurrent chemoradiation providing superior therapeutic benefits. Imaging plays a vital role assessing extent of disease staging cervical cancer. The appropriateness criteria modality are different from its availability based on infrastructure, medical facilities, resource status. Although an ideal situation, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) would be greatest value locoregional assessment fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography-computed tomography for distant staging; often, ultrasonography, chest radiograph, bone scans utilized, contrast-enhanced computed representing fair diagnostic accuracy, can reported per RECIST 1.1 criteria. MRI also good utility residual disease, predicting response detecting small volume recurrence. offers highest accuracy determining parametrial invasion hence surgical planning; so also, MRI-guided radiation planning helps accurate graded dose therapy. Stage therapy-based surveillance should encouraged recommended.

The management of thyroid cancer has been controversial and, as a result, the routine use of imaging in this disease, especially for pre-operative staging, has lagged behind other head and neck cancers. However, as more is known about the natural history of thyroid cancer, the role of imaging is becoming more established. This review focuses on how imaging now influences the staging and managem...
